Salary: £32,500 per annum

We’re looking for a confident and capable Accommodation Manager to lead and motivate the team that cleans, prepares and stocks our accommodation to the highest of standards for our guests. You’ll be overseeing all our accommodation, ensuring that the guest experience is outstanding, and contributing to the strategic development of our holiday offer.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading, managing and developing our accommodation team to deliver an exceptional guest experience with sparkling, well-equipped accommodation.
  • Recruiting, managing and developing a large department that includes a management team, cleaning team leaders and accommodation cleaners.
  • Ensuring our guest accommodation is ready for arrivals and to the highest of standards.
  • Working together with other managers in the park and centrally to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
  • Coaching and helping Team Leaders resolve guest issues in a way that makes everyone feel good.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of the company and the park from the perspective of the accommodation offer.
  • Managing and controlling budgets and identifying and implementing cost savings.
  • Championing and implementing Health and Safety policies to ensure team and guest safety.

Qualifications:

  • A good level of general education.
  • Experience of managing and leading a team.
  • The ability to manage performance issues and conflict situations assertively and with empathy.
  • Exceptional communication skills and able to adapt style to people at all levels.
  • A strategic mindset and a strong focus on customer service delivery.
  • A forward-thinking outlook and open to new ideas.
  • It’s the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have an NVQ in hospitality, customer services or tourism, have worked in a similar role on a holiday park and have coaching and mentoring experience.
