Location: Mill Rythe Coastal Retreat, Hayling Island PO11 0PB

Hours of work: 40 Hours per week, Permanent contract

Salary: £28,683 per annum

What We Need In a Nutshell

We want you to make our guests feel personally welcomed, cared for, and inspired to have their best holiday ever, from the moment they check in to the moment they leave, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the Guest Services department.

At Away Resorts we’re a growing company, shaking up the Great British holiday. Our Mill Rythe resort, set on a peaceful estuary, has undergone a stunning £10m refurbishment with our stunning cocktail bar, The Missing Squirrel! As well as our incredible restaurant The Green Room.

What You’ll Be Doing

Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, reporting to the Guest Experience Manager, you will be running the Guest Services team.

For You, This Includes

  • Spending lots of your time with guests, meeting and greeting to check them into their accommodation
  • You will be responsible for managing holiday bookings.
  • Resolving customer complaints
  • Liaising with and helping out colleagues onsite to ensure that our guests experience is always excellent
  • You will be the first point of contact for all our Holiday Home Owners

One more thing holidays happen at holiday times, so you may need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too.

Skills, Experience And Qualities You’ll Need

If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:

  • Outstanding people skills – friendly, patient and always ready to help
  • Previous Management or Supervisors experience
  • Exceptional organisation skills and able to keep a good few plates spinning
  • A solid understanding of budgeting and finance
  • Experience in a customer-facing or sales role

It’s the icing on the cake if you have experience in the holiday sector specifically, but don’t worry if you haven’t, we provide plenty of training.
