Location: Mill Rythe Holiday Park, Hayling Island, Portsmouth

Salary: £12.71 per hour - paid weekly

Hours of work: Seasonal contract - Various hours available including early mornings and evenings.

We want our venues and facilities to be so clean that they sparkle. So clean that when guests walk through the doors, we can hear them say “Wow!” This role requires a sharp eye for attention to detail.

Away Resorts are shaking up the industry and setting the new standards for what to expect from a UK Holiday Park. With 27 parks and resorts around the UK, our Parks are jaw dropping not only in its views but also what it offers our Guests. We are famous for our Accommodation, from exclusive units you will only find at Away Resorts, down to our own bespoke scent. Our attention to detail is second to none, so much so, that when our Guests open the door, they go “Wow!” However, what really makes us special is our Team of people making all this happen, we are a growing business and are now on the lookout for a Guest Experience Manager that cares about their Teams and Guests as much as we do!

Our Mill Rythe resort, set on a peaceful estuary, has undergone a stunning £10m refurbishment with our stunning cocktail bar, The Missing Squirrel! As well as our incredible new restaurant The Green Room.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Maintaining and monitoring the venues, leisure facilities & the toilets keeping them clean and fully stocked
  • Keeping our floors shining and rubbish free
  • Keeping an eye on our bins morning and evening
  • Dusting, mopping and wiping anything that doesn’t look quite right.
  • General cleaning of the building throughout the day.
  • Reporting any jobs that need doing to the Guest Service team.

Skills, Experience And Qualities You’ll Need

  • Have an awareness of what clean means – which includes attention to detail and getting a genuine thrill from a job well-done
  • Have a friendly and helpful attitude - delightful when you meet guests and good at communicating within your team.
  • Be open to learning – experience isn’t as important as eagerness to learn
  • Be willing to turn your hand to anything – guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs and ready to help
  • Be able to work day or night & weekends
