Focus on securing new business, expanding opportunities with existing and prospective group, partnership, and event customers, and optimising sales performance in alignment with the business's tariff strategy.

Key responsibilities:
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with groups, third-party partners, park teams, and central teams to achieve business objectives and ensure seamless execution.
- Understand our Away Resorts operating model and strategic plans.
- Plan and deliver the Events/Corporate strategy.
- Deliver reporting and insight to the business on performance and revenue gains.
- Systems development, reporting, and data management via Power BI, ParcVu, and Salesforce.
- Weekly and monthly sales reports for the team.
- Identify opportunities within each area of our 27 locations, ensuring each opportunity is commercially viable.
- Ensure good working relationships with Central Teams, Park Teams, and Directors.
- Network with relevant parties to identify new groups, such as special interests, corporate and families, and partnership opportunities.
- Seek new business opportunities through targeted marketing activities and proactive research.
- Manage and develop relationships with existing businesses and key contacts.
- Grow occupancy and maximise revenue in off-peak periods by liaising with the Commercial Team to identify focus dates.
- Work closely with Revenue and Marketing to ensure aligned communication with Parks GEM & GSM of sales activity.
- Work collaboratively with park teams to ensure all group and event bookings deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Establish long-lasting B2B relationships that ensure our Groups & Events sales function has a solid pipeline for repeat events.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need:
- Previous experience of managing a team within a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to drive team, fast thinking, reactive, positive energy.
- Experience of working in operational sales.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent and engaging written communication skills.
- Proficient with IT and MS Office.
- Able to analyse, digest and report key data insights.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
