What we need in a nutshell: We are now recruiting for our 2026 season across various roles! We need someone who understands that food and drink are central to a happy holiday. Someone who can look after our guests’ every whim when they eat, drink and relax in our bars and restaurants.
What you’ll be doing: We’re not your average holiday company. Our guests come to our UK resorts to experience a world away from the day-to-day and our job is to surprise and delight them at every turn. We need you to be the person who delivers delight every day when guests rock up to our bars and restaurants. You will have a cheery hello for whether you are serving up knickerbocker glories or pulling the pints.
- Meeting and greeting guests with a friendly welcome
- Taking food orders and making sure everyone gets what they asked for
- Serving behind the bar
- Keeping your area clean, tidy and well-stocked
- Ensuring team are all looking after our guests
- Cashing up at the end of shifts
- Set up or close down of the facility
- Ensuring restocking at the end of a shift
- Complying with all the lovely legal requirements
One more thing… holidays happen at holiday times and eating and drinking goes on into the night, so you’ll need to work your magic on bank holidays, evenings and weekends too.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need: If you can demonstrate the following, we’d love to hear from you:
- Experience of a similar role in food & beverage
- Ability to communicate at all levels
- Be a natural born leader and role model
- Relish the fast pace of a busy bar or restaurant
- Be a people person; easy to talk to and never happy until your guests are
It’s the icing on the cake if you have experience in the holiday sector specifically, but don’t worry if you haven’t, we provide plenty of training. It’s about your values too. We have a can-do, fun loving, people centred ethos here at Away Resorts, which is captured by our holiday heroes’ mantra of Attentive Amazing Lovers.
What we can offer you: This is a flexible role that we can help you fit into your life and it can also lead to other roles and career progression if you want it to. We look after you with a great range of benefits, including:
- Up to 50% Discounts on Away Resorts holidays – because you deserve amazing getaways too.
- 20% On-park discounts – Enjoy the best of what we offer.
- Team Incentives – Your hard work won’t go unnoticed.

From our investors to our teams, we love that everyone comes from different backgrounds, allowing us to grow and inspire each other. We’ll never accept any form of discrimination, and we’ll forever strive not just for our product to be unique but our people too. After all, wouldn’t it be boring if we were all the same? In short, we want to bring your whole self to work!
