We need someone who will keep our accommodation and holiday park in top condition, repairing, maintaining, renewing, and improving everything from entrance signage to back fence. A full driving licence is required.
What you’ll be doing:
- Assist the Maintenance Manager ensuring everything is in good working order.
- Responsibilities include:
- Carpentry – repair of doors, windows, kitchen units, walls, floors, signage, roofs and gutters, and other woodwork.
- Landscaping, including paving and fencing.
- Moving and setting up caravans, including external plumbing.
- Painting, decorating, and tiling.
- General maintenance – replacing light bulbs, troubleshooting locks, cutting keys.
- Performing maintenance checks on changeover days and working with other tradespeople when necessary.
- Any other tasks not handled by other specialists.
Guests and staff expect prompt, friendly, and reliable service.
Skills, experience, and qualities:
- Experience in domestic repairs and maintenance (e.g., tiling, painting, lock repairs).
- Understanding of Health & Safety at work.
- Full driving licence.
- Proactive, self‑initiated, with excellent people skills, enthusiasm, and high standards of craftsmanship.
