What we need in a nutshell
We want our guests to have a whale of a time whether that be down at the pool or on many of our activities we offer. As Sports and Leisure Manager, you will make this happen by ensuring our leisure activities and pool facilities operate at the highest levels whilst leading a team of qualified lifeguards and activity assistants.

What you’ll be doing
Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will oversee the management of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools, splash pads, crazy golf, bike hire, beaches and any more other fantastic leisure activities we have to offer. You’ll be looking after everyone’s safety, ensuring your areas of responsibility are safe, clean and meeting legal requirements and NOP’s. You will be responsible for managing the programme and financial income for the Sports and Leisure department. You’ll also be leading by example: being incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and 'mucking in' when you need to. This is a great opportunity for an experienced operator who is seeking a challenge and enhance their career to the next level.
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
- A current NPNQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- Great interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly.
- Proven leadership skills
- Enhanced DBS requirement
If your application is successful, you’ll have to apply for an Enhanced DBS. We need to be happy that this, together with other information we may request, is all in order before you can join the team.
Nice to have but not essential
