We want our guests to enjoy a whale of a time down at the pool and to be safe too, so we need qualified lifeguards who have outstanding people skills.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of our team of holiday heroes, you will be the go-to person at the poolside.
- You will look after everyone’s safety, keep the whole area clean and hygienic and make sure that we’re meeting our legal requirements.
- Being incredibly friendly, answering guests’ questions and making sure that everyone is having a great time.
- You want to be remembered by the guests as being one of the outstanding heroes of their holiday.
- Holidays happen at holiday times, so you will need to work your magic on bank holidays too.
Qualifications
Skills, experience and qualities you’ll need
- A valid NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification)
- Fantastic interpersonal skills – you’ll need to be assertive as well as friendly
- To be naturally vigilant and helpful - guests come first, so you need to be alert to their needs as well as their safety
