Role Summary

Awakn is seeking a Junior Data Analyst to join our growing analytics and AI consulting team. This remote, full-time role is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are passionate about transforming data into actionable insights. You’ll work with real datasets, contribute to automation-driven analytics projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve business performance through data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and manage datasets from multiple business sources.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis using Excel, SQL, and Python.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations to support decision-making.
  • Identify trends, correlations, and key performance indicators across projects.
  • Support consultants and developers on AI-related data tasks and automation workflows.
  • Document data processes, maintain data integrity, and ensure accuracy in reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree (or equivalent experience) in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
  • Proficiency with Excel; working knowledge of SQL or Python.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a remote work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio.
  • Experience with data modelling, statistical analysis, or visual storytelling.
  • Previous work or internship experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
