The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Please be aware that this role will require the successful applicant to underge UK security vetting to SC level. Any offer of employment made will be subject to successfully obtaining SC clearance.

General Responsibilities

As our Crewing Officer, you will arrange crew changes for nominated vessels, planning seafarers to ships with high compliance standards. You will provide essential support to the crew, ensuring safe and efficient deployments while prioritizing costs. You will become familiar with the crewing system (Adonis), planned maintenance system (AMOS) and other systems.

Specific Responsibilities

• Crew changes: arranging travel, immigration, documents, invoices, communication with travellers, vessels, agents, and related matters.

• Travel Invoices Coordination

• Payroll reporting to Crewing Manager

• Financial reporting to Crewing Manager

• People reporting to Crewing Manager

• Shipmate Superuser

• Updating crewing records in OCIMF and Shipmate systems

• Uploading and checking documents within crewing systems

• Arrange Drug and Alcohol screening for company vessels

• Assist incident investigations on assigned vessels

• Support Seafarer conferences as required

• Annual review of procedures by feeding back to Crewing Manager

• Participation in audits as needed

• Out-of-hours cover

Qualifications and Experience

• Crewing experience

• Understanding of documentation, ISM Code, SMS, TMSA, STCW, MLC

• Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills

• Numerate/Excel skills

• Good team player

• Seagoing certification not required but preferable

• Right to live and work in the U.K.

Duration of the role

Full time, permanent

Expected start date: April 2025

Annual Salary: £25-30,000K subject to qualifications and experience

Leave entitlement: 23 days pro rata, plus bank holidays and weekends
