An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a modern, growing contractor delivering major projects across MoD, defence, education, healthcare and residential sectors. With turnover exceeding £140m and a strong secured pipeline, the business offers long-term stability alongside exposure to complex and varied schemes ranging from £15m to £100m+.

Based in the Central London office, you’ll take commercial lead responsibility across projects, overseeing procurement strategy, subcontract management, cost reporting and commercial performance. You’ll also play a key role in mentoring junior commercial staff and supporting the continued growth of the commercial team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial delivery across projects
  • Manage procurement strategy and subcontract packages
  • Oversee valuations, variations, CVRs & forecasting
  • Contract administration under NEC/JCT
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
  • Proven experience operating at Senior QS level
  • Main contractor or developer experience within the UK market
  • Strong NEC and/or JCT contract knowledge
  • Experience across mixed-use or complex projects
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
