Are you a commercially driven Project Quantity Surveyor with strong UK construction experience looking to play a key role on one of London’s most exciting regeneration projects? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded London developer delivering a landmark mixed-use scheme in a prime South London location. The development will transform the area and create a vibrant new destination, combining residential, student accommodation, commercial and community spaces within a major urban regeneration programme. The project will deliver circa 1000 units across multiple high-rise RC frame towers, including buildings exceeding 30 storeys, alongside extensive public realm, landscaping, amenity spaces and supporting infrastructure.

The Opportunity

Working within an experienced commercial team and reporting to a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of key work packages and play an integral role in the successful commercial delivery of this flagship development. This role offers exposure to a complex, large-scale project environment and provides a clear pathway for progression into a Senior Quantity Surveyor position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the commercial performance of allocated packages from procurement through to final account
  • Lead tendering activities, subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations
  • Prepare and manage valuations, variations, cost reports and CVRs
  • Monitor project costs, forecasts and cash flow to ensure commercial targets are achieved
  • Administer subcontractor accounts and manage commercial relationships
  • Identify and mitigate commercial risks and opportunities
  • Collaborate closely with project, design, technical and operational teams to drive project success
  • Support accurate reporting and provide commercial insight to senior management

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related discipline
  • Minimum 6 years’ Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry
  • Proven UK construction industry experience is essential
  • Experience delivering residential, PBSA (student accommodation), mixed-use or regeneration projects
  • High-rise RC frame experience is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of procurement, contract administration, valuations and cost reporting
  • Proven ability to manage key packages on large-scale developments
  • Commercially astute, organised and proactive in your approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
