Role Description
Are you an experienced Forklift Truck Driver looking for your next opportunity? This is a fantastic chance to join the friendly, hardworking yard team at our busy Mansfield depot.
In this hands-on, fast-paced role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our operations running smoothly — picking loads, loading and unloading vehicles, and helping our customers and suppliers every day.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to pick, load, and unload vehicles
- Assist customers, suppliers, and drivers arriving at the depot
- Pick orders manually and lift heavy items
- Keep the yard clean, organised, and safe, maintaining a high standard of presentation
- Managestock rotationand highlight any shortages or issues
- Carry out daily checks on plant and machinery, reporting any defects or safety concerns
- Work closely with the yard team to ensure a smooth, efficient operation

Hours: 6.30am-5pm Mon-Fri

Requirements
- Forklift certification and experience operating a forklift
- Experience working in a Builders Merchant
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods of time
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Eligible to work in the UK
