A.W. Jenkinson Transport Ltd is seeking experienced LGV Traffic Controllers to join our Penrith office. You will play a key role in planning and coordinating both bulk and palletised loads, so proven experience in at least one of these areas is essential.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and manage collections and deliveries, ensuring efficient routing, reduced empty running, and cost control.
- Oversee and support drivers, handling day-to-day transport office issues including drivers’ hours, compliance, and health & safety.
- Maintain high-quality communication with customers and drivers.
- Work closely with colleagues as part of a collaborative, fast-paced transport operations team.
About You
- Experience planning transport operations.
- A solid understanding of drivers’ hours, tachograph rules, and transport compliance.
- Strong route-planning ability and excellent navigation skills.
- Clear, confident communication and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
