Join our team, the driving force behind our operation. AW Jenkinson Transport Ltd are currently recruiting for LGV Class 1 C+E Night Drivers based out of Lockerbie, South West Scotland.
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence with LGV C+E category (Class 1)
- Maximum of 6 penalty points
- Valid DCPC card
- Valid digital tachograph driver card
- Sound geographical knowledge and understanding of UK EU LGV drivers hours rules
- Min 1 year C+E driving experience preferred
- Experience of bulk haulage is preferred although not essential as full training is provided
The role involves operating both walking floor and chipliner (curtain sider) trailer combinations. This role involves working 5 night shifts per week Monday to Friday, start time approximately 4-6pm each day. Please note, our trailer gantry and fall arrest systems have a 22 stone (140kg) maximum weight limit.
