Jenkinson Transport Ltd is recruiting professional LGV/HGV Class 1 (C+E) Timber Haulage (Skelly) Drivers to join our team based in Avonmouth. If you have experience in the forestry, round-timber or crane operations sector – or you’re keen to develop specialist skills with full training provided – this is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the UK’s most respected names in timber transport.
The Role
- Transport round timber and forestry products across the UK
- Drive high-spec dealer-maintained Scania trucks
- Work Monday to Friday with occasional weekend requirements
- Be comfortable with nights out and working away from home
This is a specialist and highly rewarding driving role, ideal for safety-conscious and skilled professional drivers.
Requirements
- Valid LGV / HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- Experience with timber haulage, forestry operations, or timber cranes preferred
- Strong commitment to safety and load security
- Ability to work away from home Monday–Friday
Full training – including CPC, crane operation and industry-specific skills – is provided for the right candidate.
