We build legal drafting technology for moments that matter — when the stakes are high, the documents are complex, and speed can’t come at the cost of control. Our platform helps legal teams move faster through contracts using automation, collaboration, and AI — without taking judgment away from the lawyers who own the risk. We believe technology should amplify expertise, not replace it. Avvoka is trusted by leading law firms, banks, and global enterprises, and we’ve grown through product strength and word of mouth alone. With headcount and revenue increasing by over 70% year on year, we’re now scaling from a product-led success into a globally recognised legal-tech brand. We’re at an inflection point: evolving how the world’s most sophisticated legal teams work — and building a company where thoughtful people can do the best work of their careers.

Why Join Us

This is a rare opportunity to build the Avvoka brand from the ground up — not inherit it. You’ll be part of a small, ambitious team with the freedom to create, experiment and raise the bar for legal tech. You’ll work alongside smart, supportive people who move fast and care deeply about quality. If you’re motivated by ownership, pace and visible impact, you’ll feel at home here.

The Role

This role focuses on selling enterprise SaaS solutions to financial services institutions — particularly banks, asset managers, and insurers — where risk management, compliance, and process excellence are paramount. You’ll lead strategic, consultative sales engagements with senior stakeholders across Legal, Operations, Procurement, and IT. These are multi-threaded, complex buying journeys requiring commercial acumen, stakeholder empathy, and disciplined deal execution. You may already be an enterprise SaaS seller with financial services clients, or you may come directly from the industry, bringing first‑hand experience of how these organisations evaluate, procure, and adopt technology. Either way, you’ll combine deep sector understanding with a consultative, value‑based sales approach.

Role Details

  • Department: Growth
  • Track: Individual Contributor
  • Reports to: Sales Manager
  • Location: Hybrid with flexible WFH allowance (WeWork Waterloo)
  • Working Hours: Generally 9:00–17:30 GMT, with 1 hour’s lunch break
  • Compensation: Competitive, based on experience
  • Start Date: Flexible — we’d love you to join soon

What You’ll Do

  • Business Development & Pipeline Growth
    • Identify, engage, and qualify opportunities across financial institutions (banks, asset managers, and insurers)
    • Build relationships with senior decision-makers in Legal, Compliance, and Operations, understanding their workflows, risk considerations, and technology strategies
    • Develop tailored value propositions aligned to their business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Enterprise Sales Execution
    • Own and execute the full enterprise sales cycle: discovery, demo, business case development, procurement, negotiation, and close
    • Manage multiple stakeholders across complex buying committees, ensuring alignment from initial engagement through to contract execution
    • Build and communicate compelling ROI and value metrics that resonate with executive‑level sponsors
    • Navigate vendor due diligence, information security, and compliance processes typical of enterprise financial services buyers
  • Strategic Account Management
    • Develop long‑term client relationships that extend beyond initial implementation
    • Identify opportunities for expansion across business units and geographies
    • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure successful adoption and measurable value delivery
  • Market Engagement & Thought Leadership
    • Stay informed about industry trends in fintech, regtech, and legal operations within financial services
    • Represent Avvoka at industry events, panels, and roundtables, strengthening our reputation in the financial services ecosystem
    • Provide structured feedback to our product and marketing teams to refine our go‑to‑market approach and product roadmap

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience selling enterprise SaaS or complex B2B solutions, ideally into financial institutions
  • Or, experience working within a financial services organisation and a strong understanding of how enterprise technology is evaluated and procured
  • Proven ability to manage long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders, RFPs, and compliance processes
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A consultative and value‑oriented sales mindset
  • Self‑sufficient, goal‑oriented, and comfortable in a high‑growth, scale‑up environment

Bonus points if

  • Familiarity with legaltech, regtech, or document automation platforms
  • Background in law, finance, or professional services (for example, ex‑lawyer, ex‑consultant, or ex‑operations professional from a financial institution)
  • Experience working with C‑suite or functional heads in Legal, Compliance, or Procurement

Core attributes we value across all roles

  • Adaptability in dynamically evolving settings
  • A proactive, solution‑focused mindset with ownership
