Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the service department, including hiring, training, and supervising service technicians.
  • Develop and implement service policies, procedures, and standards to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Monitor service performance metrics, such as response time, resolution time, and customer satisfaction, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as sales, engineering, and logistics, to ensure seamless service delivery and customer support.
  • Manage service contracts and agreements, including negotiating terms, renewals, and modifications.
  • Develop and manage the service budget, including forecasting expenses, monitoring costs, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve service operations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to service technicians and assist with complex service issues as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in service management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience with service management software and tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
