About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Group Manager to lead and coordinate operations across our Test function. The role will focus on delivering safe, high-quality and efficient operations while meeting customer requirements and key business targets. You will lead and develop the Test team, drive continuous improvement and work closely with Planning, Supply Chain and other departments to support Avtron's growth and operational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate Test operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity targets are achieved.
  • Develop and implement operational improvements to increase efficiency, throughput and schedule adherence.
  • Lead, coach and develop managers, supervisors and team leaders, creating a culture of accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, identify performance issues and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Work collaboratively with Planning, Supply Chain and other departments to manage capacity, resources, materials and minimise operational disruption.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, engineering or operational leadership within a customer-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement and operational performance management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
  • Ability to influence change, manage competing priorities and deliver results against safety, quality, delivery and productivity objectives.
