We're looking for a proactive and organised Expeditor to join our Supply Chain team. This is a fast paced and rewarding role where you'll play a vital part in ensuring materials arrive on time, production stays on schedule, and our customers receive the exceptional service they expect. Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you'll help keep our supply chain running smoothly by building strong relationships, resolving delivery challenges, and supporting continuous improvement across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure materials are delivered in line with production requirements.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers, proactively managing delivery schedules and resolving supply issues.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Planning, Production and Logistics teams to maintain material availability and minimise disruption.
- Maintain accurate ERP/MRP data, monitor supplier performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Job Requirements
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing or Operations environment, with experience expediting supplier deliveries.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and experience using ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A qualification in Supply Chain, Business or Logistics (or equivalent experience). CIPS or APICS qualifications, or working towards them, would be advantageous.
