Function: Provide technical support and analysis for Avtrade Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul business. Under the direction of the Technical Manager, aid the business by developing technical solutions to meet company requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair administration of aircraft components to aviation industry quality standards and airworthiness regulations
  • Issue and monitor warranty repair orders to approved suppliers on behalf of Avtrade in accordance with MRO structure and procedures
  • Evaluate workshop reports and warranty repair quotations in accordance with company processes and procedures
  • Negotiate with suppliers to obtain best prices, terms, warranty and service levels
  • Approve invoices in accordance with departmental procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an aircraft component, MRO or trading environment
  • Knowledge of airline operational and airworthiness requirements & restrictions (e.g., allowable defects)
  • Familiarity with AMM, CMM, MEL and IPC
  • Analytical thinker with experience producing and evaluating data / running reports
  • Good negotiation, organisational and time‑management skills and strong problem‑solving ability with initiative and common sense
