MRO Coordinator – Role Overview:
Avtrade Ltd invites you to be a vital part of our exciting journey as we seek an MRO Coordinator to join our team. As an MRO coordinator, your responsibilities will encompass supporting the MRO Team in supervising aircraft component repairs carried out by approved suppliers, optimising inventory availability, and cost minimisation efforts. Your pivotal role will extend to supplier management, guaranteeing timely deliveries and upholding high service standards, all in harmony with the demands of our internal and external customers. This is a full time, office based, position, working 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday.
Function:
As a coordinator, your role will involve assisting the MRO Team (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) in overseeing aircraft component repairs through approved suppliers, optimizing inventory availability whilst minimizing costs. You will also play a crucial part in managing suppliers to ensure they deliver on time and maintain high service levels, all in alignment with both internal and external customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Liaise and build successful relationships with designated suppliers
- Raise repair orders on approved suppliers in accordance with existing procedures
- Process quote approvals within approval limits
- Expedite and report on open orders to effectively achieve required delivery and service levels
- Ensure excellent Internal & external customer support is provided & MRO customers have all relevant data concerning repair & overhaul requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in an administrative role gained within an office environment desirable
- Some experience of aircraft components highly advantageous
- Numerate, accurate, enthusiastic, innovative with good attention to detail
- Analytical thinker with some experience in producing reports and evaluating data advantageous
- Good organisational, team player and time management skills
