The role is for a Manager or Senior Manager, providing VAT advisory services to a wide ranging portfolio of corporate clients. You will be managing relationships with your clients and the firm’s wider team to provide exceptional service, as well as hitting targets and leveraging opportunities for the growth of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Providing VAT advisory services to a wide range of clients
- Proactively managing your workload, while prioritizing, delegating and referring upward as appropriate
- Managing relationships with clients and identifying opportunities to sell additional services
- Building and maintaining relationships within your team and the wider firm. Effective and consistent communication with managers, directors and partners is essential.
Key skills and experience
- Excellent communications skills, and the ability to deal with upper management and key stakeholders
- Degree education, with a CTA or ACA qualification is preferred.
- 5-10 years’ experience in delivering UK VAT services to both small and large clients
- Project management skills, managing the workload of yourself and more junior staff
- Industry knowledge and the ability to keep informed of developments within the VAT sphere
- Ability to proactively identify and leverage areas for business development
