The Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious Transfer Pricing Manager to join our rapidly expanding group. As the first key hire under the Transfer Pricing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling our UK practice from the ground up. This isn't a "business as usual" role. You will have the autonomy to shape your career path while working directly with leadership in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Growth & Strategy: Collaborate with the TP Lead to execute the UK growth strategy, identifying opportunities within the existing client base and supporting new business proposals.
  • Policy Design: Support the design and implementation of robust TP policies for a diverse portfolio of international clients.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Lead functional analysis interviews and manage the delivery of high-quality TP documentation (Local Files/Master Files) in accordance with UK legislation and OECD guidelines.
  • Financial Transactions: Support cross-border financing engagements, including UK thin capitalisation analysis and interest rate benchmarking.
  • Economic Analysis: Oversee the benchmarking process and economic analysis using industry-standard TP databases.
  • Client Management: Act as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining relationships through proactive and responsive communication.
  • Technical Reporting: Draft and review technical reports with a high level of precision and professional clarity.

Technical Background & Experience

  • Professional Qualification: ACA qualified (or equivalent professional certification).
  • Technical Expertise: A deep understanding of current UK Transfer Pricing legislation and the evolving OECD landscape.
  • Financial Literacy: Specific experience in thin cap rules and intercompany lending is highly beneficial.
  • Analytical Tools: Proficiency in using TP databases to source and analyse comparable data.
