Our client is a well-established tax compliance practice combining technology with advisory expertise to serve a high-calibre client base. Because of the breadth of their work, the size of the team and their commitment to professional development, there is real scope to build expertise in specific sectors or technical areas. This team is based across several UK offices and works closely with colleagues in international support hubs as a single, joined-up team.


About the role


You'll be part of a specialist group helping clients meet their Pillar Two, corporate tax and tax accounting obligations. Clients range from large multinational groups to mid-sized businesses across many industries, giving you broad technical exposure.


Working with fellow tax professionals, you'll look after a portfolio of clients, with responsibilities including:


  • Delivering Pillar Two compliance work end to end, including leading engagements, gathering and analysing data, reviewing calculations and filing returns
  • Reviewing how raw data is organised, analysed and converted into standard templates for compliance purposes
  • Reviewing and filing corporation tax returns
  • Reviewing and delivering tax accounting outputs
  • Maintaining regular client contact and planning, tracking and managing your own workload
  • Coaching and developing junior colleagues
  • Monitoring engagement budgets


Skills and attributes


  • Knowledge of the global Pillar Two framework and associated filing obligations
  • Experience preparing or reviewing both transitional safe harbour and full GloBE rules calculations
  • Solid UK corporation tax expertise
  • A recognised accountancy or tax qualification (such as ACA, ATT or CTA, or an overseas equivalent), or comparable practical experience, including experience gained in another country
  • A strong client focus and the flexibility to adapt to differing client needs
  • The ability to build and sustain effective relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Good data skills and an analytical mindset
  • Experience collaborating with remote and international teams, including offshore support functions
  • Confidence giving clear, constructive feedback on quality and accuracy
  • A drive to continually improve processes
  • Well-developed coaching abilities
  • UK GAAP and IFRS tax accounting experience would be an advantage
