About the Role AVTAV is recruiting Despatch Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a major airport retail logistics operation supporting Heathrow terminals.
This role is based within a secure landside warehouse environment , working within the Despatch team to prepare, organise and load goods ready for onward delivery.
Operatives will work across both chilled and ambient warehouse areas , preparing completed loads for despatch and ensuring vehicles are loaded accurately and efficiently.
This is a physically demanding and fast-paced role , involving a significant amount of walking throughout the shift, along with regular pushing and pulling of loaded equipment and goods. A good level of physical fitness and a proactive approach to work are therefore essential.
The Despatch operation can involve the loading of up to 24 vehicles per shift , so candidates must be comfortable working to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and safe working practices.
Pay Rates Pre-12 Weeks Standard Rate: £13.16 per hour
Overtime Rate: £19.74 per hour
