You will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft are fully catered, stocked, and ready for departure, safely, efficiently, and on time.

Location: Manchester (Airside Operations)

Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing

Shifts & Hours:

  • Average 12-hour shifts (11.5 hours paid)
  • Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
  • Operations run 7 days a week, including public holidays
  • Start Times: AM shift 05:30am - 13:30pm, AM Shift 05:30am - 17:30pm, PM shift 13:00pm - 21:30pm, 4 on / 4 off
  • Break Structure: 1st break unpaid, 2nd break paid

Pay Rates: £17.00 - £18.70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles airside
  • Operating catering and high-loader vehicles in restricted airport zones
  • Loading and unloading catering equipment in line with aircraft specifications
  • Delivering food, beverages, and equipment directly to aircraft
  • Completing vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
  • Ensuring all deliveries meet strict aviation safety and timing requirements
  • Maintaining compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Aviation Security regulations
  • Working closely with airside teams and flight crew

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid UK HGV Category C (Class 2) licence
  • Digital Tachograph card
  • Maximum of 6 minor penalty points
  • Previous Class 2 driving experience required
  • Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays
  • Strong awareness of safety in a high-risk, time-sensitive environment
  • Willingness to undergo full airside security clearance
