Role: Escort Operative
Location: Hatton Cross
Shifts: 4 on 4 off 8.00am to 20.00pm / 20.00pm to 8.00am
Hours: 40+ hours per week (overtime available)
Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour days, £17.63 per hour nights
We are currently looking for reliable and responsible Escort Operatives to support our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for escorting engineers and contractors through secure areas of the Cargo area, ensuring all access procedures and security protocols are followed at all times.
Transport Provided:
Free transport will be provided to all staff from Bath Road – including pick-up and drop-off for each shift.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Escorting engineers, contractors, and other personnel through secure zones
- Ensuring strict compliance with airport security procedures and access control
- Maintaining constant communication with security teams and supervisors
- Verifying identity and access permissions of all escorted personnel
- Acting as a point of contact for any security-related questions during escorting
- Remaining vigilant and professional throughout each escort duty
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE:
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
- High level of professionalism, responsibility, and attention to detail
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Previous experience in a security, escorting, or airport environment is desirable but not essential
- Must be eligible to work in the UK and pass airport security clearance
SECURITY CHECKS
As this role is connected to a UK airport you will be required to provide a 5 year checkable history, this may include Employment / Unemployment / Gaps / Self-employment – Once we have this information from you, we will obtain the references on your behalf.
You will also be required to undergo a Criminal record check.
