As a Courier Driver, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and timely delivery of DHL parcels and mail across assigned routes. You'll be working independently on the road, representing the company professionally, providing excellent customer service, and meeting daily delivery targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver DHL parcels and mail packages across various routes
- Complete approx. 30 drops per day initially, progressing to 60 drops using a hand-held scanner
- Load your vehicle between 09:00-10:00, departing the depot around 10:00 or earlier to begin deliveries
- Deliver to both commercial and residential addresses
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and in line with company procedures
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at all times
Requirements:
- Strong ability to prioritise and maintain attention to detail
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team
- Confident working independently and meeting targets
- Full UK Driving Licence
Security Checks (Aviation Security Regulations):
- 5-year employment history check
- UK criminal record check
- International criminal record check (if lived abroad for more than 6 months)
- Relevant aviation security training completed in-house by AVTAV (at no cost to the applicant)
