You will play a crucial role in ensuring aircraft are fully catered, stocked, and ready for departure, safely, efficiently, and on time.
Job Type: Full Time, Ongoing
Shifts & Hours:
- Average 12-hour shifts (11.5 hours paid)
- Minimum 8 hours guaranteed per shift
- Operations run 7 days a week, including public holidays
- AM shift 05:30am - 13:30pm
- AM Shift 05:30am - 17:30pm
- PM shift 13:00pm - 21:30pm
Pay Rates: £19.50 - £21.45 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Driving HGV Class 2 (Category C) vehicles airside
- Operating catering and high-loader vehicles in restricted airport zones
- Loading and unloading catering equipment in line with aircraft specifications
- Delivering food, beverages, and equipment directly to aircraft
- Completing vehicle safety checks before and after shifts
- Ensuring all deliveries meet strict aviation safety and timing requirements
- Maintaining compliance with Food Safety, Hygiene, and Aviation Security regulations
Requirements:
- Valid UK HGV Category C (Class 2) licence
- Digital Tachograph card
- Previous Class 2 driving experience required
- Ability to work flexible shift patterns, including weekends and public holidays
- Strong awareness of safety in a high-risk, time-sensitive environment
- Willingness to undergo full airside security clearance
As this role is based within a secure airport environment, all applicants must be willing to undergo full Aviation Security Vetting in line with UK regulations, including:
- UK criminal record check
- International criminal record check (where applicable)
