Hours: 21 per week (Monday, Thursday, Friday 8am - 4pm)

Salary: £22,074 FTE (£13,244 for 21-hour working week) per annum
Full UK manual driving licence held for a minimum of two years is essential.
Do you have driving and warehousing experience which could make a difference to the lives of people in need? Our Mobility Aids service (MAS) offers hire of equipment like wheelchairs to help people live more independent lives. You will be mainly based in the warehouse ensuring that all mobility aids are cleaned, serviced and repaired to an agreed national standard. There will also be some driving involved, approximately one day per week, transporting stock between British Red Cross sites.
Whether working as part of the team or as a lone worker, you will contribute to the smooth operation of the Mobility Aids Service. You will provide support to other members of the department ensuring that the operation complies with, and where possible, exceeds customer expectations, contractual arrangements, service levels and overall company requirements.
What does it take to be a successful Driver / Warehouse Operative?
- Being a team player. Happy to support colleagues but can self-manage your time and workload.
- A confident and safe driver. Van driving experience and knowledge of Omagh and surrounding area.
- Physically able to lift and carry loads up to 21kg (within the Health and Safety Manual Handling criteria).
- IT skills with an ability to learn and operate a stock management system.
