Design
- Supporting the Designer in creating designs and delivering presentations based on deliverables outlined in the contract and AvroKO’s Architectural Standards.
- Tasks may include, but not be limited to developing designs, 3D modeling, elevation renderings, mood board creation, CAD drawings, image research, materials and furniture sourcing, etc.
- Work on assigned design phases within project budgeted hours.
- Under the supervision of a Designer, assist in the creation of quality timely sets of drawings, specifications, budgets, and reports as proscribed by the contract.
- Maintain project files and folders in accordance with Architectural Standards.
- Type and issue to Project Manager meeting notes (based on PM’s hand notes) for external design meetings.
Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years of post-graduate design experience with significant experience in high-end, conceptually driven interior design.
- Demonstrated conceptual approach to design.
- Proven industry experience with common industry software applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, 3D modeling applications, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; Spexx specification writing software a plus.
- Experience using Sketchup and Photoshop is required.
- Strong writing skills (narratives, strategy, meeting minutes, proposals, etc.).
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
