About the role
Due to continued growth we are looking for an Environmental Consultant to join our growing team.
What will your day look like:
- Provide guidance on best methods and practice to meet technical and project requirements.
- Keep up to date within industry best practice and, where appropriate, brief junior staff.
- Liaise with clients on technical matters.
- Produce or contribute to the production of environmental deliverables including desktop assessments, EIAs, environmental management, environmental hazards and constraints.
- Consult with regulatory authorities including EA and local councils regarding permitting and consents, planning submissions and advice.
- Be responsible for time keeping, development and resourcing.
- Provide input into project quality plans.
About you:
- An environmental degree.
- Membership of a relevant professional body.
- Clean driving licence.
- Strong coordination skills.
- Sound knowledge of processes and technical environmental standards.
- Computer literate.
