The predicted salary is between 35000 - 45000 £ per year.

You’ll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver projects through design, build and commissioning phases, supporting Project and Site Managers with programme, budget and technical decision making. The role involves a blend of site, office and home working, and you’ll play a key part in ensuring Health & Safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will support the delivery of MEICA projects within the water treatment industry, primarily from an Electrical/ICA background, with an understanding of mechanical and process requirements.

What will your day look like…

  • Manage electrical/EICA engineering activities and report progress against programme.
  • Review and contribute to technical documentation, including method statements and risk assessments.
  • Prepare EICA subcontractor scopes and ensure correct specification and procurement of materials.
  • Produce and implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) in line with project and company standards.
  • Provide on site engineering support for installation, commissioning and operational activities.
  • Ensure full compliance with HSQE requirements, completing safety inspections and documentation.
  • Coordinate project documentation such as procurement schedules, instrumentation lists, RAMS and SWPs.
  • Support programme delivery, liaising with clients and subcontractors while applying NEC contract awareness.

About you…

  • Control systems (PLC, MCC), actuated/manual valves, instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature) and water quality instruments.
  • Ancillary equipment such as screens, pumps, mixers, dosing systems, tanks, vessels, pressure filters and surge systems.
  • Knowledge of DWI, WIMES and WRAS standards.
  • Understanding of water and wastewater treatment processes, water movement and chemical dosing.
  • Ability to use MS Project to build and interpret detailed programmes.
