About The Role… As a Skilled Operative, you will carry out on-site work. You’ll ensure all on-site work is carried out on time and to the standards in line with our Yorkshire Water requirements. The role will be based in Brighouse and requires a full valid Driving License.

What Will Your Day Look Like…

  • Visit multiple wastewater sites to inspect and maintain combined sewer overflow (CSO) systems, helping to minimise environmental impact.
  • Carry out routine cleaning of screens and chambers to prevent and resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor and check client systems to ensure accurate performance and reporting.
  • Record and report all inspections and completed tasks, identifying and escalating any additional work requirements.
  • Complete all site duties on time and to the required standards, following direction from the Line Manager.
  • Adhere to health & safety, quality, and environmental policies, promoting a "work together, safe together" culture.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with customers and stakeholders while complying with streetworks regulations.
  • Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are used efficiently, kept in good condition, and any issues are promptly reported.
