We provide full training and continuous development to help you reach your potential. Due to continued growth, Avove is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our expanding design team. In this role, you will support and deliver high‑quality structural designs across a range of projects, providing technical expertise and guidance on all structural matters.

You will play a key role in ensuring designs are safe, compliant and fit for purpose, contributing to successful project delivery while supporting and mentoring members of the wider design team.

Brighouse (Avove offers flexible hybrid working, with a combination of office and remote working)

  • Lead structural design on multi‑disciplinary water industry projects.
  • Provide expert guidance on all structural matters and help develop Avove’s structural capability.
  • Deliver compliant, high‑quality structural designs in line with current BS/EN standards.
  • Plan and manage structural investigations to support project delivery.

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or equivalent with strong structural design experience.

Broad experience across reinforced concrete, steelwork, and water and wastewater infrastructure (buried and above‑ground).

Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, statutory processes and technical standards.
