We’re looking for a Team leader to join our Severn Trent Water framework!

We are expanding our team and are looking for a Team Leader to join our Developer Services Framework within the Severn Trent Water region.

This is a great opportunity to join an established team and contribute to a workstream that has been successfully delivered for over 10 years.

As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of operatives, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

You will support the development of your team, oversee clean water installations ranging from 25mm to 500mm, and ensure an excellent experience for our customers.

You will also manage daily work schedules, compliance, quality, and team wellbeing, ensuring all job information is communicated accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of two or more operatives to deliver programmed works safely, efficiently, and in line with KPIs, operational requirements, and project deadlines.
  • Develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence of team members to support their growth and progression within clean water operations.
  • Promote and enforce the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance across all site activities.
  • Identify potential risks and implement effective control measures to ensure a safe working environment for all.
  • Work closely with the management team to ensure appropriate resource levels are in place to deliver work to the highest quality standards.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, proactively addressing concerns and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Provide feedback and contribute ideas to improve processes, performance, and ways of working.
  • Support the adoption of new technologies, innovations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Accurately complete all required documentation, records, and systems updates in a timely manner and to a high standard.

About you

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • NRSWA Operative accreditation.
  • Medium Risk Confined Space certification.
  • EUSR Cat & Genny (CAT 1) certification.
  • EUSR National Water Hygiene Card.
  • Knowledge and experience of line stopping operations.
  • Experience and/or training in under-pressure drilling.
  • Banksman and Slinger/Signaller certification

This role is not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker Visa process.
