About the role:
We are expanding our team and looking to take on a Utilities Operative to support and assist the delivery teams. Responsible for delivering site-based tasks safely, efficiently, and professionally. Ensures high standards of work, communication, and customer service while maintaining equipment and adhering to health & safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver work to specification, on time, and with attention to quality.
- Maintain professional conduct and appearance on site and in vehicles.
- Follow health & safety procedures, including PPE and risk assessments.
- Keep vehicles and equipment clean, secure, and in good working order.
- Communicate effectively with team leaders, clients, and the public.
- Report progress and issues promptly to site and project managers.
- Suggest improvements to processes, tools, and materials.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and safety awareness
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Experience in a similar role
- Familiarity with digital reporting tools
- Valid driving license
