We are seeking skilled and motivated Arborist Team Leader. This role will report directly to the Site Manager overseeing and delivering Vegetation Management works on our Utility contracts for our Client Northern Power Grid. You will liaise with Clients & Customers and the wider Avove Team of Surveyors, Planners, Safety and Commercial Managers.
What will your day look like
- Oversee work programmes to ensure safe, compliant delivery with minimal risk
- Enforce safe working practices and environmental standards
- Provide clear work specs, method statements, and documentation to teams
- Ensure field teams understand and follow safety and contract requirements
- Set high performance standards and targets for all staff
- Carry out audits and implement improvements where needed
- Deliver work on time and within budget
About you
- Lead and coordinate daily tree care operations
- Ensure high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality
- Manage tasks such as pruning, removals, planting, and tree health assessments
- Supervise a team of arborists and subcontractors
- Liaise with clients and report to management
- Demonstrate strong leadership and arboricultural expertise
- Hold relevant certifications (e.g. Certificate III in Arboriculture, chainsaw, and EWP ticket)
