What will your day look like…

  • Produce commissioning documentation including commissioning plans, sequences, test records, and contribute to EICA related quality planning and ITPs.
  • Review and sign off commissioning RAMS and associated documentation to ensure compliance and readiness.
  • Maintain and update programme information, providing feedback on progress and highlighting events requiring commercial support.
  • Lead commissioning meetings with clients and subcontractors, including attendance at FAT, iFAT and inspection activities.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities and H&S inspections with clients and subcontractors, ensuring programme adherence while supporting operational site requirements.
  • Lead and document Worksite Readiness Reviews prior to commissioning activities commencing on site.
  • Work closely with Project, Site and Operations Managers to ensure all commissioning activities align with QA/ITP requirements and project timelines.

About you…

  • Strong ability to use MS Project, including creating detailed programmes from work information and cost build ups.
  • Good hydraulic understanding of water distribution boosted systems, and pumped dosing systems (desirable).
  • Solid process knowledge of water treatment, water movement, and chemical dosing (essential).
  • Familiarity with control systems such as PLCs, MCCs, manual/actuated valves, and a wide range of instrumentation (pressure, flow, temperature, quality).
  • Experience with ancillary equipment including screens, pump sets, mixers, dosing equipment, tanks, vessels, pressure filters, and surge systems, plus awareness of DWI, WIMES, and WRAS standards.
  • For electrical focused roles, a strong grasp of electrical fundamentals, fault finding, and safety practices, supported by a suitable qualification to act as an appointed person (desirable).
