The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

The successful post holder will provide and be responsible for all round administrative support to ensure the provision of efficient and effective assistance to the Local Remediation Acceleration Plan (LRAP) team within the Business Fire Safety (BFS) department.

This role is based at an office to be confirmed however it will likely be in the Bristol / South Gloucestershire area.

  • Some of the things you’ll be doing
  • Providing efficient and effective administrative support to the Local Remediation Acceleration Plan (LRAP) team, Business Fire Safety Manager and their staff.
  • Administering sensitive and confidential materials relating to potential prosecutions conducted by BFS in relation to the Fire Safety Order 2005.
  • Managing the day‑to‑day operation of the Local Remediation Acceleration Plan (LRAP) Business Fire Safety administrative procedures and systems.
  • Placing orders for equipment and supplies on behalf of Business Fire Safety, checking and recording deliveries.
  • Contributing to the implementation and development of administrative systems, including computerised systems, and revising them where necessary to improve efficiency and ensure timely provision of relevant information.
  • Participating in project teams as required, collating and writing up findings.
  • Carrying out any additional responsibilities as reasonable and appropriate, as agreed with the line manager.

All job roles require a standard DBS check, with certain defined roles requiring an enhanced check.

These will be renewed throughout employment.
