Avondale Foods is looking for an Intake Assistant Supervisor to support and manage the delivery of fresh produce across our site. The Intake Assistant Supervisor will oversee the team's duties in receiving, storing, and moving goods across the site, as well as coordinating the picking and supply of materials to production areas.
What you will do:
- Ensure that deliveries are unloaded and stored in designated areas.
- Ensure that forklift drivers are supplying the ingredients required by the production department in an efficient and timely manner and that other materials and supplies are delivered to relevant departments promptly.
- Ensure that stock rotation is carried out regularly.
- Ensure that all documentation is kept up to date, i.e. traceability.
What we need from you:
- 2 years experience managing a team in a busy warehouse environment.
- Valid Forklift License.
- Previous experience within warehousing, despatch or logistics.
