The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 Β£ per year.

The Engineering/Maintenance Department provides a Reactive Maintenance, Preventative Maintenance, Worklist, Site Services Management and Project delivery resource to the business.

This role contributes to the management and purchasing of engineering stock items for our site.

What you will do: Purchasing engineering parts/spares within an agreed budget and timeframe.

Sourcing components and implementing cost savings.

Monitoring and controlling stock levels.

Maintaining stores to the agreed standards and managing the changeover from current Kanban stock system to a new D365 system.

Assist in identifying critical spares and arranging stock controls Preparing PPM kits.

Collection of parts from external sources.

Off-loading deliveries using a forklift.

Adhering to customers codes of practice.

Assisting engineers when necessary.

Essential

Criteria: Educated to at least GCSE standard (or equivalent) including English & Maths Familiarity with D365 or other stock control, stores or inventory systems.

Experience in purchasing engineering parts, consumables or maintenance spares Competent IT skills including Excel Ability to use initiative to work on own or as part of a team to achieve results.

Experience working within budgets and achieving cost savings.

Understanding of health & safety procedures in an industrial setting Strong attention to detail with a proactive and problem-solving mindset Excellent communication skills Familiarity with KANBAN systems or other stock control systems Forklift licence Full UK Driving licence
