What you\’ll be doing:
As the Global Sustainability & Compliance Lead for Beauty+ at Avon, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our Fashion & Home category. You’ll lead sustainability initiatives and ensure our products meet all relevant compliance and safety standards. Working across global teams and with external partners, you’ll help embed sustainability into product development, manage regulatory changes, and support the delivery of safe, responsible, and innovative products. This is a strategic and hands-on role where your expertise will directly support Avon’s broader Beauty+ goals.
This role is a Fixed Term Contract (9–12 months)
Key responsibilities:
- Leading sustainability projects and setting clear goals to drive progress across the Beauty+ category
- Monitoring and interpreting global regulations, ensuring all products meet legal and internal compliance standards
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to support product testing, documentation, and technical implementation
- Managing updates to compliance processes and literature, and supporting vendor engagement strategies
- Coaching and mentoring team members while sharing best practices across the business
- Supporting the integration of sustainability into product development to increase circularity and reduce environmental impact
- Acting as a key contact for regulatory bodies, suppliers, and senior stakeholders across the business
What we\’re looking for:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a technical, scientific, or product development field
- 5–7 years of experience in product development, compliance, or sustainability, ideally in a consumer goods or fashion/home environment
- Strong knowledge of EU regulations and sustainability frameworks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in a matrix organisation and confidence engaging with senior leadership
- A passion for sustainability and a drive to make a meaningful impact through innovation and compliance
