About the Role:
We\βre currently recruiting Support Workers for our vibrant Day Hub in Warwick. Every day at the Hub is different β full of fun, laughter, learning, and community connection.
You\βll support individuals with learning disabilities and additional needs to develop new skills, take part in exciting activities, and make lasting memories β both in the Day Hub and out in the community.
What\βs a Typical Day Like
At our Day Hub, no two days are the same Some of the activities we do include:
- Cooking sessions and coffee bar barista training
- Arts & crafts, video games, interactive screens & I.T. station
- Sensory room, chill-out zone, and movie time
- Discos, themed parties, and social events
- Trips out β including bowling, sports, concerts, cinema nights, meals out, and more
Best of all? Our activity schedule is shaped by the people we support β it\βs their day, their way.
Your Role Will Include:
- Providing 1:1 and group support to individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Supporting daily living needs, including personal care and social interaction
- Facilitating engaging and meaningful activities, both in the Hub and out in the community
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and positive environment
- Communicating with families, professionals, and the wider team
- Encouraging skill-building, independence, and confidence
What We\βre Looking For:
- A Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- A positive attitude and ability to remain calm in challenging situations
- Understanding of Autism, ADHD, and additional needs is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for helping others live life to the fullest
