The Role
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Care Assistant to join a dedicated care team within this high-quality residential setting. This is a key role supporting residents with person-centred care while leading and mentoring care staff to maintain exceptional standards. You will play an important part in ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and supported to live fulfilling lives in a calm and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Support residents' physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
- Assist with meals, hydration, and light household tasks
- Deliver compassionate care, including end-of-life support when required
- Maintain accurate electronic care records and care plans
- Promote dignity, independence, and confidentiality at all times
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Care Assistant within a care home setting
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Medication administration experience or willingness to train
- A caring, professional, and reliable approach
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- A genuine passion for supporting older people
