This purpose-built 62-bed home provides high-quality residential, nursing and respite care within a welcoming and supportive environment. The experienced management team leads a dedicated workforce of around 75 staff, creating a caring and professional atmosphere where residents receive truly person-centred support. The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting residents while providing guidance and leadership to the wider care team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading and supporting care staff throughout your shift
- Delivering high-quality, person-centred care
- Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities
- Administering medication safely and accurately
- Maintaining care plans and accurate documentation
- Promoting residents' dignity, independence and wellbeing
- Liaising with nurses, relatives and healthcare professionals
- Ensuring a safe, positive and welcoming environment for residents
About You
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (desirable)
- Previous experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a residential or nursing home
- Medication administration experience
- Compassionate, reliable and committed to delivering exceptional care
- Excellent communication and leadership skills

- Able to work effectively as part of a supportive team
