About the Service
We are recruiting a Healthcare Assistant to join a friendly and long-established residential care home, supporting up to 26 residents. The home is owner-managed, who has owned and managed the service for over 18 years. Her long-term leadership provides stability, consistency, and a strong focus on high-quality, person-centred care. The service is well regarded within the community and operates in line with CQC standards, offering residents a safe, warm, and supportive environment.
The Role
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will support residents with day-to-day care needs, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Whether working days or nights, you’ll be an important part of a close-knit team delivering compassionate, high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
- Assisting with meals, hydration, and light household duties
- Overnight monitoring and comfort checks (night shifts)
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Promoting dignity, confidentiality, and person-centred care
