Vacancy: Head of Maintenance Location: Bromley (Kent) Salary: £36,800.00pa (40hrs per week) The Head of Maintenance is responsible for ensuring the care home environment is safe, well-maintained/presented, and compliant with all relevant health, safety, and statutory requirements. This role will have a particular focus on the following areas: Regulatory Compliance Health & Safety Planned Preventative Maintenance Fire Safety Daily Maintenance Contractor & Budget Management What we are looking for: Experience in a similar role with a good understanding of building services including, heating, hot and cold-water distribution, ventilation, electrical distribution, plumbing, gardening, painting and decorating A professional, who understands the importance of maintaining high standards – working to statutory requirements and compliance to ensure our residents enjoy a safe and comfortable environment A friendly and approachable team player with the ability to troubleshoot when necessary Hold a full, clear UK Driving Licence You will be a compassionate, empathetic, kind, and caring individual Proactive and compliance driven. Strong attention to detail with a safety-first mindset. Able to balance hands-on maintenance with regulatory management.
