The Opportunity
Our client, a well-established, family-run residential care provider in the Eccles area, is looking for an experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant to join their friendly and dedicated day team. The home provides high-quality residential and dementia care for 19 residents in a warm, homely setting, supporting long-term residents alongside short-term convalescence and respite stays. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and motivated individual who is passionate about delivering person-centred care and supporting residents to maintain dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents
- Support residents with personal care, mobility, nutrition, and daily living activities
- Assist with medication administration where required
- Promote residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing
- Maintain accurate care records and documentation
- Support and guide junior care staff during day shifts
- Build positive relationships with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
Candidate Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care (preferred)
- Previous experience within a residential or dementia care setting
- Experience working in a senior care or healthcare assistant role advantageous
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Genuine passion for supporting older people
